Caliber – The Wealth Development Company is continually seeking ways to give back to the community that includes supporting the thriving artist scene surrounding its Mesa properties. When the company discovered local artist Gina Ribaudo had lost her studio space and no longer had the accommodations to continue her art, Caliber didn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand.

Gina Ribaudo is a self-taught muralist with more than 15 years of experience. Her vivacious murals and paintings can be found throughout the hallways of many Arizona and Washington-based restaurants, hotels, children’s museums, dance studios and salons. She has been featured in HGTV’s House Hunters, Go Gilbert and The Everett Herald’s Home and Garden issue. After discovering her new residence didn’t have the creative space she required, Ribaudo was put in touch with Caliber through friends at City Hall.
Caliber created a month-to-month agreement with the artist to lease a portion of its 202 Main Street building in downtown Mesa to Ribaudo free of charge. Ribaudo has turned the space into an art studio and proudly displays her paintings in the windows for everyone to see as they walk by, adding a warm and inviting presence to the building. Ribaudo plans to create a mural on a Caliber property to thank the company for its generosity. The community project perfectly aligns with Caliber’s opportunity zone efforts and is a testament to the importance of being a true part of a community, not an out of touch developer, a critical initiative for the company.
The 202 Main Street building, which currently acts as Caliber’s leasing office, was purchased by the company in 2018 along with seven other historic buildings located in downtown Mesa. Caliber plans to use the
100,000-square-foot space to strengthen the area’s economy and breathe new life into the city’s urban core with creative office spaces, rooftop restaurants, bars and entertainment venues.
