Acquired in 2018 for $11,600,000, the Holiday Inn Ocotillo is a 106-room hotel situated in the upscale neighborhood of Ocotillo in Chandler, Arizona. With limited room availability in the area and some natural barriers to entry, the hotel capitalizes on a higher average occupancy for the area, as there aren’t many competitors in the area.

The hotel was originally built in 2005 and renovated in 2015 by the previous management. After its purchase, Caliber updated and reopened 36 previously out-of-service rooms and provided small updates to other areas of the property.

The Holiday Inn Ocotillo also benefits from its above brand-level interior and exterior finishes, outdoor pool and spa, full restaurant, business center, fitness center, and +/- 2,500 square feet of meeting and event space.

This property was purchased by Caliber Hospitality Trust Inc. on March 31, 2023, for $17,667,843.
