Chief Executive Officer / Founder
Chris is a co-founder of Caliber and currently serves as the Company’s Chief Executive officer. In this role, Chris develops overall company strategy in concert with his co-founders and the Company’s Executive Committee and ensures that strategy is communicated to the Caliber team and the general market. Chris leads the growth of the Company’s investment services including acting as the fund manager for Caliber’s private investment funds. Chris seeks out opportunities and strategic relationships to grow the Company’s investment base – both in investment capital and opportunistic projects. Prior to serving as the Company’s CEO, Chris utilized knowledge and skillsets acquired as an auditor for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP to develop the Company’s business systems. Under the leadership of its founders, Caliber has grown over a six year period to manage over $50M in in assets with average year over year growth of nearly 100% per year.
Chief Operating Officer / Founder
Jennifer is a co-founder of Caliber and currently serves the Company’s Chief Investment Officer. In this role, Jennifer ensures the Company’s portfolio of single family homes, apartments, office buildings, and hotels are performing with a maximum positive outcome. Jennifer sets investment strategy for incoming properties in concert with the Company’s Executive Committee and further ensures each strategy is implemented or modified as market conditions change. Prior to taking the role as CIO, Jennifer served as the Designated Broker for Caliber Realty setting up an internal system to manage the purchase and sales of over $50M in investment property. Jennifer has spent her entire career as a real estate entrepreneur after several years of architecture & design school. Her designs and contributions can be seen throughout the Company’s portfolio of investments – including the recent $8.5M renovation of the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport Hotel.
Chief Financial Officer
With more than 15 years of executive-level leadership experience in Real Estate, Commercial Mortgage Banking with Berkadia Commercial Mortgage (“Berkadia”), Tavernier Capital Partners, LLC, GMAC Commercial Mortgage and Keystone Mortgage LLC. Has accumulated extensive experience managing the daily operations of commercial mortgage origination companies. At Berkadia was a management team member overseeing a division with 500 employees that generates $15 billion of annual loan originations and investment sales with $245 million of annual revenue. Well-developed skills managing multimillion-dollar operating budgets, developing and implementing financial and operational strategies and procedures, and identifying methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs by process redesign, using technology, and offshoring. Holds his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is also a Certified Public Accountant. As Caliber’s Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for all administrative functions within each of Caliber’s four business units as well as financial reporting to Caliber investors and the public.
Executive Vice President – Commercial Acquisitions and Development
Roy is the Director of Commercial Projects and co-manager of the Caliber Distressed Income Fund “CDIF”. Roy plays a critical role in analyzing potential properties, maximizing returns on existing properties and overseeing all aspects of construction at Caliber. He has over 30 years’ experience in Arizona as a principle, operating construction and development companies that have completed over $200,000,000 in developed real estate. He has successfully developed dozens of projects including multi-family, custom home, retail centers, mini-storage, industrial complexes, office building and medical complexes. In addition to ground up development, Roy has completed several hundred tenant improvements from a standard office build out to medical surgery centers. A graduate of Washington State University in 1984 with a degree in Business Computer Systems, Roy received his Commercial General Contractor’s license in 1986 and his AZ Real Estate Broker’s license in 1988. Roy has worked actively with many cities development department and was recently Chairman for Peoria’s Design Standards Advisor Board as well as their construction Board of Appeals.
Senior Vice President – Investor Relations
Zach Fuller developed an entrepreneur mindset at a young age. He has built businesses in industries including website design, information marketing, ecommerce, and real estate investment. After two years at the University of Colorado, he was accepted into the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare School, where he graduated as a Special Forces Engineer. He performed his duties as a Green Beret in the United States Army, conducting highly sensitive combat operations in Afghanistan. After his honorable discharge, Zach went on to build a real estate company in Maryland where he formed a unique strategy that is now used by investors nationwide. He currently holds an Arizona real estate license and has completed over $60,000,000 in real estate, note, and private equity fund transactions within the last four years. Zach oversees the Wealth Development department of Caliber Companies and assists clients in growing their portfolios through various real estate investment vehicles.
Peter brings 25 years of real estate experience to Caliber including ownership, property management, development and construction. He has invested, owned and mentored in multiple business verticals including retail, banking, finance, hospitality, real estate and technology. He has travelled throughout Asia, Europe and North America teaching and mentoring CEOs on many unique business best practices that he has created. Peter is a past member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (15 years), Vistage (2 years) and was asked by the Business Development Bank of Canada to lead on of the most successful Presidents’ Roundtables on record (3 years). He is often asked to speak to Business Leaders, Politicians, Chamber of Commerce Members, Presidents and CEOs on his unique thought leadership and best practices that he has implemented in nearly every business he is involved in. Peter has worked on large, unique projects that included Colgate Palmolive (UK) , IBM, Southern California Edison, Corel and the Grammy Awards. Peter is currently an advisor to Grayhawk Business Partners, a proposed Community Bank in Scottsdale, Arizona. Peter enjoys spending time with his family, playing ice hockey as a goaltender, in addition to coaching and mentoring inner city youth.
